Leigh Byblow | Chief Executive Officer

A multimedia producer for 15 years, Leigh has held several senior management positions in the technology industry. In 1997 as president and founder of a young start-up technology firm he was awarded a "Canadian Young Entrepreneur of the Year" award. Leigh is a graduate with honours of the prestigious Vancouver Film School's New Media Program which is regarded as one of the top multimedia schools in the world. Today, as President of Netgenetix Media, he provides valuable insight, direction and focus to Netgenetix Media's present and future product and service offerings. Leigh consistently demonstrates his ability to articulate a clear vision for his company and brings to Netgenetix Media a wealth of knowledge in the web solutions industry.

Jessica Doig | Vice President

As Vice President, Jessica demonstrates passion for the convergence of design aesthetic, technical knowledge, and business strategy.Jessica thrives in Netgenetix's culture of professionalism, creativity, and remarkable results. In her business development role, she grasps the nuances of a client's business and demonstrates flair for understanding how the possibilities of creative technology can help our customers. She guides stakeholders in articulating the project's vision, drafts the functional requirements and ensures that the project stays focused. Her formal education includes a Science Degree (UBC) and an MBA in progress (University Canada West). She also gains valuable experience in leadership and public speaking as President of Burrard Toastmasters Club.

Thomas Hepburn | Business Development Director

As Business Development Director, Thomas demonstrates his leadership abilities, work ethic, and astute business acumen. He is an adaptable team player with proven analytical, problem solving and financial skills. With an MBA from Sauder School of Business (UBC) and a Commerce degree from McGill, Thomas has the academic background to bolster his experience meeting and setting tight deadlines, managing budgets and working under pressure. Thomas strives to establish long-term business relationships with customers and vendors, to create and implement innovative marketing techniques, and to diversify the Netgenetix client portfolio through strategic business development efforts.

Andre Bussanich | Creative Director

Andre is a strategic thinker with in-depth knowledge and experience that ranges from experiential design, social media, digital interaction and motion design. His firm root in traditional print design, branding, and advertising have helped pave the way for a unique perspective in storytelling and design in the online and interactive world. Andre is always exploring the next big idea and how best to tell the client's story with modern digital technologies. Andre boasts over 12 years of experience in the digital space, including recent experience as an award-winning Art Director at an interactive agency. As Creative Director at Netgenetix, Andre ensures the highest standards of creative integrity to designs that we deliver.

Patrick Gorry | Product Development Director

Patrick leads our product development activities with his passion for product innovation. Patrick has been developing websites and applications for the past 13 years. After graduating with first class honours in Computer Applications at Dublin City University, he spent a total of 6 years working with the software giants of IBM and Microsoft. Patrick also spent a number of years in Ireland running his own successful website design company. Well versed in all technologies Microsoft (and many non-Microsoft), Patrick brings strong assets to all stages of applications from the design and architecture, to the development and testing. Patrick has a genuine interest in leveraging new technologies so they look and feel state-of-the-art.

Eric Mui | Technical Director

A Netgenetix pillar for over 9 years, Eric has completed a Higher Diploma in Systems Analysis, a Diploma in Computing Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Certificate in Database Development from the City University of Hong Kong. Eric is an A+ and Network+ Certified Professional by the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA). In addition to his numerous designations, Eric also brings over 17 years of systems and software development experience on multiple computer platforms with specialties in online transactional-based applications. Eric was the lead innovator of the real-time Hang Seng Index, automated credit card authorization processing and treasury trading application in a leading bank in Hong Kong. Eric also has 5 years of teaching experience in high-tech and computer related courses.

Rebekah Renford | Junior Project Manager

Rebekah is a graduate of the New Media Design and Web Development program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She received the Apple Canada Entrance Bursary and achieved a Senior Management Certificate with Honours. New to the industry and very enthusiastic, Rebekah has a wide range of knowledge from Project Management to Web Design to Video Editing. She strives for excellence in everything she does and exceeds expectations with her diligence and willingness to learn. She is also a team player who will use her varied skills to complement the project management team at Netgenetix Media.

Patrick O'Neill | Production Coordinator

Patrick O'Neill brings a varied skill set to the Netgenetix team, including four years in experiential marketing and three years in sales management. With a Bachelors degree in English from Simon Fraser University, Patrick lends his extensive background in coordinating and staffing large-scale events to our work creating and installing digital interactive displays. As Production Coordinator, Patrick divides his time between Field Logistics and Product Development. A driven and dedicated individual, Patrick values efficiency and elegance in both design and execution above all else, work that ensures that Netgenetix technologies will constantly evolve with the needs of our consumers.

Justin Williams | Senior Designer

A talented and creative designer, Justin has extensive and varied experience in corporate logo development, print design, and professional website design and production. With formal training in Digital Art and Design from Thompson Rivers University, Justin has the technical background to support his creative talent in producing top caliber design for our web and print projects. Justin is responsible for the consistency and integrity of design and visual components for our projects, striving to help clients achieve their business goals with smart, effective solutions.

Alistair Wang | Applications Developer / Systems Administrator

An experienced and talented developer with 9 years experience in developing web applications, Alistair brings to Netgenetix a wide variety of skills. He is well-versed in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, PHP, Javascript, AJAX, MS SQL Server and MySQL. Alistair's strengths lie in developing web applications, designing architecture, optimizing databases and troubleshooting. Some of his successfully delivered solutions include a web 2.0 community used by 10 million users and a database system with over 10 billion records. Alistair's formal education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Technology.

Adam Cullen | Applications Developer

Adam thrives by immersing himself in the geekery of the web. With over 8 years of Web Development and Analyst experience, Adam has been involved with .NET since its inception, creating innovative solutions for industry leaders, from media companies such as the BBC, to large, blue chip finance companies. An avid "standardista" and promoter of accessibility, Adam has a wealth of experience using the latest methodolgies for producing excellent usability and delivering rich content across multiple devices. Adam's skill-set covers every tier of a web application to a high level of expertise, from the user experience to the database.

Diedre Feist | Office Administrator

As our Office Administrator, Diedre ensures the Netgenetix office is kept under control even in the busiest of times. With a Bachelor's degree from UBC North and a diploma in Event and Convention Management, Diedre's career has included work in the travel industry as well as a 3 year sojourn to South Korea to teach ESL. Diedre's detail oriented and organized nature, combined with her knowledge and experience, facilitates an effective and efficient Netgenetix team effort.

Hunter | Dog

Hunter is an adept and energetic member of the Netgenetix team. He is a valuable asset who listens keenly during meetings, and takes particular interest in reminding the team of the benefits of kitchen cleanliness. He is a natural leader who has enthusiastically welcomed new team members, Violet & Louie.

Violet | Puppy

Violet has been quick to learn the ropes at Netgenetix by establishing rapport with the team and learning the importance of the fuzzy pink slippers. She especially enjoys the projects where she gets to collaborate with mentor, Hunter.

Louie | Puppy

Louie is a spirited and charismatic team member who strives daily to keep up with his colleagues, Hunter and Violet. His enthusiastic and determined outlook drive his unbridled ambition to one day be a big dog too.
